Do you people use firecrackers on New Years, because my friend from Lousiana does and he says everyones does. But Ive never seen firecrackers on New Years in New York. Not even on tv.. all I see is the ball drop.
So do you guys use firecrackers on New Years? |

There used to be a firework show every year at Great America that I can see from my window, but for some reason, those've stopped.
![]() Residential fireworks are illegal here, but they're not in Hawaii. So when I went there for holiday vacation, there were fireworks all over the place. ![]() ^ Palm trees? Ohh Chinese New Years! We have a big Chinese and Vietnamese community here, so around Chinese New Years, we always go to this one plaza to see a show and DAMN those firecracks can break your ears. But they're cool anyway. ![]() And yeah, of course it's illegal, but people do it anyways.. CHINESE NEW YEARSSS!! :D Many, many firecrackers. But I think on New Years, they have fireworks after the ball drop. ![]() |
