This is a question asked from many guys. And no, I'm not telling myself in 3rd person. If he likes a girl and has a crush on her, how should he approach her to have a good, loving relationship? Should he start out being friends with her or what? Talk to her? Greet? What are your thoughts?

Just go up to her and say something random. You'll get her laughing, then start a conversation. If you've got her in a class, try to get your work done quick, then wonder over to her and ask her if she needs help, and just start talking from there. Works for me and I'm not complaining.
