this situation needs some help Options

ok so theres this guy im totally crushing on but in the past i called him a loser,dork,weird and so on from elementry school to middle school.and moved to his neighborhood in the mid 7th grade.now its hs aka sophmore year and hes at my bus stop-sigh- and didnt like him and for ever since like a couple weeks ago.its kinda hard for me to talk to him now.not that i ever did then except when i was making fun of him.he proberly thinks i hate him.every chance i got i was mean to him since 8th grade.now i feel so bad and sorry.he proberly likes or did like me its possible. not saying he is.that he proberly wont talk to me cuz hes afraid of me.so give me better advice than just talk to him cuz its not as easy as it sounds.and hes not always at the bus stop and i hardly see him in the halls so if your smart enough.please help with my unfortunate situation.thanks.

Well actually.. I think it depends on how you made fun of him.
Did you have a look of hate and annoyance when you did?
In that case I think it'll be difficult to patch things up.

But if you making fun of him in a jokingly manner..
I called a couple of kiddos some names back in the day..
(more like a few years ago! )
But I didn't come out being too serious when it came
down to the immature name-calling so it didn't go
too bad building a friendship with them.

Start it off nice in easy if you haven't been to harsh on the guy.
Take in a big breath and try to look at him like if he's just a
regular guy you just know/want to know. Casually say hi, mention
a thing or two you guys have in common.

TRY to have a decent casual conversaion
so maybe he'll think "hey, this isn't the same girl
that called me weird and a loser!"
