I didn't know how to use the chopsticks until I was 9 .. but my parents and my uncle says .. whoever's asian and they don't know how to use the chopsticks (toddlers/kids under 8 are excused) they're stupid. Do you agree with them? I'm mostly referring to East Asians who use chopsticks very commonly, almost everyday.

no, it doesn't mean you're stupid.
if your whole family consists of musical prodigies and you aren't a musical prodigy, are you stupid? that's silly. i suppose if you grew up with people using chopsticks all around you, then we'd all assume you knew how to use chopsticks. but if you didn't, that's no reason to call you stupid. |
