I'm such a dork... Options

So the dumbest thing happenned to me the other day. I was in Waldenbooks scoping the bargain section, which is something I do from time to time, but this was the first time I did it in a Waldenbooks. I usually go to Barnes & Nobles, they have a much bigger selection! Anyhow, I find this one book that catches my eye... "A Guide to Better Sex". Unbelievable book. It's got photos, not illustrations, of different positions, tips on different kinds of techiniques, info about contraceptive methods, the male & female body, etc. so on so forth. Everything you would expect from such a book with real pictures! Mind you, I am neither a perv or inadequate at performing. Ok, so maybe the photos are arousing, so what. And the tips and new positions could come in useful. But I don't need to explain myself, on with the story. So I'm excited about my new find but slightly embarassed to go to the register person to pay for it. Yes, I'm grown, I'm 22 years old, I shouldn't be embarassed, but I was. I look over at the register, no one was there, but I muster up the courage to go over there finally to pay for the $9.99 book. And to my surprise, a complete hottie, a Jared Leto lookalike, walks over to the register. Even more embarassed than before, I painfully try to keep a straight face but it was obvious, I was blushing. He cooly tells me, "Don't be embarassed, everyone should own one of these." Not knowing what to say, I responded like the biggest dork on the planet, "It's a bargain!" After that, I said no more and continued to unsuccessfully hold a straight face. We finish up at the register, he says "Enjoy!" with a slight smirk, I thank him and run off cheesing like a teenage girl thinking to myself that I should have asked him out. But how awkward would that have been...

"So, uh, wanna try out some of these positions with me sometime?"

At least I'm well on my way to being an even better lover. Maybe we'll bump into each other again. Or maybe not.


Hence, my latest obsession with Jared Leto.

And to update you guys on what's happenned since then... I've returned to the bookstore a few times and even recently, but unfortunately, I never saw him again after this incident. But I still think of him everytime I even walk by that place... I guess its going to stand in time as a missed opportunity. *sigh*

As for the book, I actually didn't find it useful for more than the explicit photos, unfortunately. But to be honest, the photos aren't even that arousing, the models are hardly attractive. Parts of the book are actually quite disturbing (i.e. there's a section on fetishes and one of them include crossdressing and there's even a picture of a guy wearing fishnet stockings ). One plus is that I've improved at flexing my kegel muscles with some new exercises I learned and the results have been good...
