I didn't know how to use the chopsticks until I was 9 .. but my parents and my uncle says .. whoever's asian and they don't know how to use the chopsticks (toddlers/kids under 8 are excused) they're stupid. Do you agree with them? I'm mostly referring to East Asians who use chopsticks very commonly, almost everyday.

no offense but yea. if you grow up in an asian family and enviroment and dont know how to use chopsticks, thats kind of disgraceful. you dont have to prefer chopsticks, but at least know how to use them.
its not a stereotype like all these americans think. its basically a way of life. thats like saying, if you grew up in the ghetto and you dont know what pot is... youre stupid. its true. you truly are. or being korean and not knowing the difference between north and south korea, and which part youre from. or being chinese and not knowing who jay chou is :P |
