I just don't know...
I live in the UK, we may be behind America a little bit... But I always thought it was another name for Emo, basically. But if you say that to anyone they bite your head off! ![]() And I have a friend who is fairly emo, and on MySpace someone else who is pretty well emo told her off for being a "stupid scene kid". (Also, why do emos complain like "it's not fair to hate us because we're emo" and then have a go at scene kids in the same way?) Yeah. WHAT IS SCENE? Cheers. |

In my opinion it has NOTHING to do with 'Emo'. Emo is a type of genre of music. Never a type of fashion.

^Agreed. Music develops fashion to accompany it. Grungers? - Grunge = a type of music. Most "grungers" don't even like that kind of music, but the fashion tends to stem from the music and then split off from it, if that makes sense? So emo IS a style of clothing/dress now, although it originated as a genre of music. I don't understand why people must label, myself, but when someone is calling me "scene", or telling me off for trying to be "scene", I like to know what the hell they're talking about... |
