okay so there's this boy i like,
well we had this christmas dance coming up,and i got my friend to go tell him she knew someone that wanted to go to the dance with him and go out with him,but not to tell, yet .

well supposevly since she wouldn't tell him,he said he wasnt going.
so then i said yes to this other guy,
and then a few days later my best friend runs to my locker and is like
"OMGOMGOMG guess who asked me to the dance?!"
and i was like "who?"

and she goes
"PATRICK!!"

and i had told her a few months before i liked him and stuff.

and so then
i had to pretend to be happy and i told her to say yes and stuff.

well my friend lateria told him i was upset and stuff because i wanted to go with him,
and so we were tlaking on AIM and he was like im so so sorry and stuff,and we made some
funny jokes and stuff and he gave me a few compliments.

then he was tlaking with osmeother people and my friend told me somebody was like who would go to the dance with ariana? and then patrick was like yeah who would go to the dance with her?

so my ffeelings were hurt and i was kinda mad/upset because like i really
thought he liked me because we went to a party and he was all over me
laying on me..putting his arms around me,tickling me..soo much stuf.

welll like 2 days went by, i played happywith christine[bestfriend] and then came home and cried.

well one day we were talking,and she was like "so are you ok with me and patrick
going to the dance together because you dont seem like it."

well i didn't know if i should tell her or not,but another one of my friends said it was time.
so i did.
and she started freaking out and stuff saying she couldnt do this to me and stuff cus she was like ur my best friend and i dont wanna loose you.

and so i told her to at least still go to the dance with him,and then if he asked her out or something we could talk about what she would say then.
she told me she wouldnt like do anything to upset me and she was worried about me not hanging outw tih her so much and she was like but we barely hangout anyways.
and i was like telling her i didnt care and it was ok but anyone in their right mind would know i wasnt okay. she also told me she swore i never told her i liked him,but i KNOW for a fact i did.

welllll lastnight was the night of the dance,
and he was going to ask her out.

well patrick was like r u still mad at me or upset with me and i just looked at him
and he goes well i like ur dress and then i was like holding my hand out and he grabbed my hand and i slapped his and said leave me alone.

and then i told christine he was going to ask her out.
and he goes well ariana i really really like him..alot.
and so then i walked away and later i found out she said yes.

Aw, how sad.

I think you should ask your bestfriend for some time apart.
Tell her that she's not losing you in any way but you just need some time to think about everything. IF she's your bestfriend, she'll understand.

This guy...... he's hard to define, why did he take your hand?
Maybe he's just the type of guy who doesn't like it when people are mad at him?
