These tutorials on here for vectoring images, don't explain very well. So does anybody know about any other good tutorials for vectoring images?

Well I'm not expert but posterizing the image REALLY helps you get it. Well for me it really helps me attempt it. IF you don't posterize I have a feeling you might not have a "amazing" vector.
All you have to do is duplicate the picture layer and posterize the top layer only. |
