Hmm... masturbation is considered a form of sex by some, and not considered as such by others. It appears to be more of an opinion. I don't think it is a form of sex myself, but it is just how people look at it. Those who don't understand the real meaning of sex may tend to get it mixed up with privately pleasuring oneself and the actual motion of intercourse with someone else.
 Confusing eh?
