My Firsts Options

I've been playing around with The Gimp for about a week. I've started reading some tutorials, and I've tried out a few things.

First Colorization

1. The colorization is all one color except for the eyes. It looks like you set the blend mode of the colors to soft light or something. Try to not make it look the same. It looks a bit tacky. The eye color seems so....unnatural. Try to set the Blend Mode to something else.
2. The vector is rather nice for a first. But the shape of her head seems a bit odd. The lips seem nice but the edges are horrible. You might want to practice with the pen tool a bit more.
3. The edges in most of your vectors are a bit funky. The screen in the ipod looks like it can be bigger too. It looks like you overused most of your brushes a LOT. I also really don't like the glowing scribbles around the sun.

Well sorry for the criticizm but you I still think you did rather nice job on your firsts!
