Does anybody know a free spyware/adware remover?
I used to have one way back, but I deleted it and I don't remember the name. I only found trials. I have 1000 of those nasty things. |

Definitely Ad-Aware.
Download Hijackthis; it might help detect some icky spyware/adware programs on your computer. You can post your log into one of those automatic reviewers; sometimes you'll find something. Here's a website with How-To tips on removing different spyware programs. http://www.pchell.com/support/spyware.shtml And here's one with hundreds of different types of adware/spyware - and how to get rid of certain ones.
