So yeah I was chillin at NYC saturday night wit my friend, it was like 11 PM. The game store was closed and already, people are sitting down on mats in front of the store camping out until midnight to get the nintendo wii. are you guys serious? please, it's A GAME .. seems like these people would die for the nintendo wii. I heard it was shitty anyways. These mexicans need a life (no racism intended, a lot of people that were camping out were mexican). why can't they just be patient? if they're out of stock, just wait until they're re-stocked like 2-3 months later ...

rawr SOCK - some people just CAN'T preorder online. Plus, even people who preordered end up waiting outside, not realizing that people receive preorders based on what number they are in the line of preorders. Plus, there's probably a limited amount of preorders that can be taken online. The rest might have to be made at the store (i.e. GameStop)

StanleythePanda - Hi Kara! Exactly my point! It is their choice and they are passionate about it. My boyfriend waited in line, even though he has a PHOBIA of lines, he's very passionate about gaming. Plus, Wii is less than half the price of a PS3. Also, Some PS3's have broken down, and that sucks if it was $600 down the drain... Well, it practically IS $600 down the drain anyway for buying it. :P

Killa RAM'ron - it's not that people would DIE for a Nintendo Wii. It's that people are PASSIONATE about gaming and want the latest gaming systems that they would wait in line for it. Oh yea, and for your INFORMATION, they don't need to restock 2-3 months later, thank you very much. They restock every week. This aint no PS3, aiite? Yes, you made me say "aint" and "aiite". You didn't even HAVE to mention that they were Mexicans to us, but becauses you did, of course we're going to see a hint of racism in it. Come on now. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.

And yep, salcha4u has a good point when mentioning Black Friday -- People will wait in line at least 5 hours in order to buy stuff. They're sacrificing their time in order to save money.

Heck, my boyfriend got his Nintendo Wii on Black Friday, nonetheless! haha we waited for 2 hours in line, but we were first! And another GameStop had a HUGE line outside their door and it turned out that THAT gamestop didn't even get any Wii's in! People were so mad/sad. :/
