So yeah I was chillin at NYC saturday night wit my friend, it was like 11 PM. The game store was closed and already, people are sitting down on mats in front of the store camping out until midnight to get the nintendo wii. are you guys serious? please, it's A GAME .. seems like these people would die for the nintendo wii. I heard it was shitty anyways. These mexicans need a life (no racism intended, a lot of people that were camping out were mexican). why can't they just be patient? if they're out of stock, just wait until they're re-stocked like 2-3 months later ...

You just gotta accept the fact that some people have a serious, intense passion for games haha. I personally think it's cool how they camp out and line up to get it. It's like an adventure for them and I'm sure they have fun just trying to get this WII or ps3 or whatever.
If I was as obsessed with these game systems like they were, I think it'd be fun to camp out with friends to get it. It's probably worth it. My friend and his girlfriend spent their anniversary waiting in line for hours and hours to get the WII and they had an amazing time. One thing I think is crazy and stupid is when my friend's boyfriend's friend had two PS3's and he found this guy to buy one off of him for like $3000. Now THAT I think is just absurd. I mean don't you think it would've been worth saving the money just to wait a little bit for it to go in stock again so you can buy it for cheaper and save some money.. |
