I can tell by the shade of his utilities that he's a soldier and not a Marine, but thats beside the point.
The "War in Iraq" is more or less a deathtrap for Americans. I'd do it if I had nothing better to do but ride on the back of a convoy patrol with a M240G. Why? Because one of my closest friends was shot and killed because he was giving an 8 year old child something to eat and the bastard triggered a bomb and killed himself and my friend. I have no remorse. Make the muthafucka run. |

Make the muthafucka run. I don't think you should judge a country/people because of one person who did something wrong. Your friend knew he would be in danger. He was doing his job. Soldiers' know they are risking their lives by joining the military. Many people have died in the military because they were doing thier jobs. They were also helping a poverty-stricken nation, who needed us to go into their country and help them; even if some people didn't agree with the American's actions and decided to take thie own action. What that person did to your friend was wrong. I understand how that would be troubling for you to have someone close to die. But, once again, your friend knew what he was doing and what danger he was going to be in by even joining the military. |
