How serious do you guys think Promise Rings are if you were to exchange them with your boyfriend/girlfriend? And how soon into a relationship would you exchange it?
Basically I'm asking what are the implications of exchanging Promise Rings....and the timing of it. Thanks =] |

Well if its something you strongly believe in then its something serious. I dont know how old you are but, when If you are older like I or lots of us, you will realize that the word PROMISE is very very serious. I did the whole promise ring thing and it was probably 18 months after we started dating. Its a very serious commitment.
I will honestly say that if you are younger then 17, then none of this applies because I am a strong, strong believer that you have to be over 18 to even hold a an actual serious relationship, not because you "have" to be. But because the mind doesnt begin to understand the meaning of Love when you near adult maturity and or have at least lost a serious love. But yea, anywho, what kind of promise are you "bonding" with this ring? |
