Some of the words people use to curse are actual English words, but taken out of context. For example, jackass. It's a an English word but sometimes people use it against it's definition. Same thing goes for Bitch, which is a female dog. And Bastard, and et cetera.
In my opinion, slang words are words that are made up and aren't officially defined (i.e. You can't find them in the dictionary). Just because someone uses a word out of context does not necessarily make it slang. |
