I brought this up Backstage but want member input as well.
Would anyone oppose the idea of removing the Offical Designer status of Off. Des.'s if they are no longer active and/or contributing? There's no harm in leaving them as it is since there isn't already a rule stating one has to continue to contribute once they meet the minimum requirements but doing this "cleanup" would keep the Off. Des. group tidy. It was suggested that there be a requirement for Off. Des. to submit a certain number of submissions for a given amount of time. 3 per month? 3 per 3 months? The only issue with this idea is that it's a bit tedious to keep track of the number of submissions someone submits and keep an eye on any new submissions accepted. Agree/disagree? Comments/suggestions? |

But is having a small group of Official Designers that consistently contributes worse than having a large group where many don't? And don't contribute at all anymore? Perhaps having a __ submissions in a certain amount of time is ineffective but there should be some rule so that we don't have a bunch of members who become Official Designers for the title (hypothetical situation here).
Winnie, it would be nice if Official Designers were active in the forums but if they don't want to and would rather just submit, I won't demand it of them. By activity I mean actively contributing. |
