I brought this up Backstage but want member input as well.
Would anyone oppose the idea of removing the Offical Designer status of Off. Des.'s if they are no longer active and/or contributing? There's no harm in leaving them as it is since there isn't already a rule stating one has to continue to contribute once they meet the minimum requirements but doing this "cleanup" would keep the Off. Des. group tidy. It was suggested that there be a requirement for Off. Des. to submit a certain number of submissions for a given amount of time. 3 per month? 3 per 3 months? The only issue with this idea is that it's a bit tedious to keep track of the number of submissions someone submits and keep an eye on any new submissions accepted. Agree/disagree? Comments/suggestions? |

They were graphics.. didn't think they were bad.. enough to be rejected.

I'll update the thread. If a submission isn't up to par, it should be rejected, regardless of someone's status as an Official Designer. It wouldn't be logical for Official Designers to have tons of skins that have gotten accepted and then suddenly submit not-up-to-par stuff, though. So the only benefit of being an Official Designer is the.. title now ? |
