I brought this up Backstage but want member input as well.
Would anyone oppose the idea of removing the Offical Designer status of Off. Des.'s if they are no longer active and/or contributing? There's no harm in leaving them as it is since there isn't already a rule stating one has to continue to contribute once they meet the minimum requirements but doing this "cleanup" would keep the Off. Des. group tidy. It was suggested that there be a requirement for Off. Des. to submit a certain number of submissions for a given amount of time. 3 per month? 3 per 3 months? The only issue with this idea is that it's a bit tedious to keep track of the number of submissions someone submits and keep an eye on any new submissions accepted. Agree/disagree? Comments/suggestions? |

Honestly, I think its a great idea. Although instead of making 3 submission every so many months.
I suggest making a miniumum of like 2-3 submissions in each month, it would be easier to keep track of. And I would be more than happy to go check out all the official designers and see whether or not they met the requirements, and if not for that month then they can always try for the next month. Although if you get taken off the status, what do you think should be the requirments for that? I mean if they just get taken off but their still active members but didn't get the requirement for that month, then should they have to submit atleast 5 or so to get that status back if they really want it? |
