Being the lazy 18 yr old that i am
 , i finally applied for a checkings account in washington mutual , offering the "free service plan" i didnt want to get a service where your money gets deducted if u dont have a minumum balance of your account . im just glad that i could have my own atm card and the money is all mine . ( i had a savings account before) . so any of you guys got a checkings account yet ? im sure most of you guys do

I got my checking account when I was 12 with UNFCU (United Nations Federal Credit Union).
I have full control of it because UNFCU has a pretty good savings account for kids. It doesn't deduct anything, even though I earn 1.25% interest. My parents have to pay taxes for the interest I earn, though. |
