And I fainted.

Waited for 4 hrs in line at my school library cause there were so many people. It was nerveracking (probably from watching them stick needles into people.)

The lady from Stanford Blood Drive stuck the needle into my arm and it felt hella uncomfortable. The initial puncture was pretty bad and it still hurt after that which was weird, cause it didn't hurt for any of my other friends. I was kind of squirming in my seat trying not to move, and the needle was just in there for about 10 minutes. Also she leaned the freaking tube of blood against my hand, so I was just basically looking at my blood flowing out... Just as she was about to take it out, some guy had to ask her a question SO SHE TURNED AROUND AND I WAS JUST SITTING THERE THINKING "oh god oh god plz take it out now cry.gif ". So I started to feel really dizzy up in the head and paled in complexion at the same time. I think I also kind of blacked out (?) cause someone was yelling at me to open my eyes while placing a wet towel on my head and everything. Yeah, I had to stay like an extra 20 minutes while they forced water down my throat and tried to get color back in my face. It was bad. People I knew actually came up to me to tell me I didn't look good. Well, thanks...kind of knew that.

I am probably one of the biggest wussies ever (no lie) so donating was like a smack to the face for my friends. Everyone was pretty surprised. I didn't show expression during the proceess either.

So, donate blood yeah? Saves a life. _smile.gif
