I just wanted some opinions and advice on my problem here.

So there's this guy, and he's REALLY weird. He lives in Folsom, & i live in Sacramento. He moved there from Sacramento; he was my friend's neighbor & him and me and my friends talked online through Xanga.

My friend used to date him out of pity (see, he's pretty much an all around depressed guy), and she said he was REALLY ugly. Two of my other friends, who've also met him in real life, said that he was really ugly too. And it's pretty sad, cuz he won't even show anybody a picture of him (so basically, he realizes that he's ugly as well).

To make it worse, he's like HECKA depressed & emo. Well he TRIES to be emo; as in he dresses in grey instead of black and stuff.

Anyways, we've been talking over AIM and he thinks he's bisexual. That's like, wow. All of a sudden he asks me "what's it like to like a guy?" and then he thinks he's bi. It really shocked me, since he was kinda a good friend, no matter how weird he was. (i'm not a hypocrite :])

So. He wants to like kill his friend (that's the guy he likes) so that he won't like him anymore. Wow, like THAT's gonna solve anything.

Making the problem worse again; the last time I talked to him, he said that I looked like Tifa Lockheart. WTF, dudes? My friend (who dated him) said that it meant that he thought i was hot (obviously he's seen a picture of me), because all guys basically think that Tifa Lockheart is hot. Well, at least geeky asian dudes like him.

What should I tell him? I mean; I don't want him killing his friend & I don't want him to like me or anything. I want to help him through his problems, but I don't want to like convince him to kill himself (which he's really close to doing so, by the way).

Yeah; problem major. By the way, sorry the post is so long.

hey, dont start another problem in this thread. =[ its bad enough as it is.

your friend is just going through an emotional time trying to find himself. has he even tried trying to improve himself? maybe if he did it will make him more confident. be a good friend and atleast tell him there is one person in the world who truly cares for him, you right? if you didnt you wouldnt be asking for help. people say they want to kill people but dont mean it. he has no right to take out his anger on someone he likes...it makes no sense. i dont know its confusing but try to get him through it. i hoped i...kinda helped

biggrin.gif I am glad that you dont want another problem in this thread Chibichimomo and I totally agree with you and I just wanted to point out that people dont need to take the advice if they feel its to harsh.

I agree with you this guy needs help and its something you (**moonstruck** )need to do as a friend. This is serious because I have had medical training and that is not a good sign if he wants to kill someone, it can also mean that he has thought of sucide. Because he is experiencing these feelings, he might also feel that he is not being accepted in society. You need to talk to him that looks are not everything, personality is what makes someone beautiful. He really is crying out for help and what he needs now is a friend to lean on. Forget that this guy may like you or anything, just help him out as a human being who needs someone to understand him. He also is confused about his sexuality. tell him its okay to be confused, many teenagers are confused at some point of there lives about their sexuality, and its NOTHING to be ashamed of if he wants to be bi,straight, gay or whatever.

Good luck!

It wasn't "advice"-- you said "WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD THINK THIS WASNT A SERIOUS ISSUE??!!!!" or something. That's just hostility.
You could say "it sure seems serious to me!" or something PLEASANT.
