Okay so basically I'm pretty outgoing, but never when I want to be or need to be the most. For example, I'm perfectly fine talking when there isn't someone I'm trying to impress, but when theres a guy involved that I like .. I just get all nervous and I can't even talk.

So anyways, there is this guy in my geometry class that I really like, but honestly? I don't think he'd ever notice me. And the thing of it is that I get so self conscious when I'm near a guy I like that I can't even talk to him. Anyways, so I like this guy and I want to talk to him..(he's a teachers assistant) and he usually sits at the teachers desk when the teachers talking, but when he's done talking, he moves to a seat behind me.. and we're going to change seats pretty soon so it wont be that easy to talk to him anymore and I want to before that. The thing of it is..I don't know what to say or when. and it's like... I need confidence to get a boyfriend and be noticed, but the only way I feel like I can get confidence is if I get a boyfriend and get noticed first...

I duno. I'm kind of new to all this. Anyone wanna help?

Find any excuse to talk to him. If he's talking to others around you and you are at least on classmate terms with them, turn around and join in the fun. Or simply ask him for help and don't feel like he will think you're a retard. He shouldn't if he's a teacher assistant.

I know how you feel. Whenever I'm around a guy who I think is cute or I like a tiny bit, I can't talk to them. Or even if I do, I am not myself. That's probably why all the guys that liked me in the past were my friends who I didn't like in more than just a friendly way. I can be my normal self around them, so I guess they fall for my charm that way.
