I was amazed when I searched throught this forum, and found no topic on this song whatsoever.

Okay, so I saw the music video of this song yesterday, and I cried during the whole thing. I was watching it with one of my close friends, Jenn, and she literally melted. She fell in love with the song, just because she could relate to it...her father died of brain cancer two years ago...and yeah.

Anyways....I respect Christina Aguilera now-a-days..I didn't really like her back then..because she seemed wayy too slutty. But, as I watched the interviews these days...my respect for her just grew.

I respect everyone's view on her.....but in my opinion, personally, I like her. her acting sucked major balls in the video, but she's a singer..not an actress, so remember that when you're leaving your comment (for ppl who were gonna bash on her acting).

Yeah, so she used to be a big hobag and a slut and everything that goes with that... but guess what? People grow up, people change. Accept it. It doesn't mean you have to respect her, but it does mean that people CAN realize mistakes and mature.

I don't particularly like her that much, but I do think she's super-talented and her music has gotten much better.

Hurt is one of the best songs on Back to Basics and the video is beautiful. As for Christina, I don't know if she was ever a slut even when she dressed like a trollop. My cousin dresses like a hoochie mama but she isn't one.

Her image has changed but she still wears clothing that some might call slutty. To each his own, one man's trash is another man's treasure. I care about her vocal ability and her music.
