Ok, I read some of the replies here and obviously a lot of you don't really understand rap music or know much about it at all. First of all, not ALL rap music is about womanizing, or drugs, or violence, or cars, or sex, or anything of the sort. Have you listened to Mos Def, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Common, Dilated Peoples, or even Kanye West? Its not fair to paint all of rap music with the same brush, especially if you're not even an avid listener. Second, it's not all computer generated or done with a turntable, wtf? How about a Tribe Called Quest?
You have probably only heard of garbage rappers such as 50 Cent or Ludacris... and Chingy! I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion but do not lay down "facts" such as these if you don't know what you're talking about. |
