The oedipus complex is the belief that everyone has a subconcious sexual attraction to their mother.
If you really want a better understanding of what it is... check it out HERE. You really should read this before you vote. I personally believe that it's somewhat true... althought I don't want to fool around with my own mother I know that I'm personally attracted to women with similar qualities. |

The Electra Complex is directed towards females, therefore, it cannot apply towards males. And, the Oedipus/Electra complex pertains to little children only. Not to mention the fact that Freud was biased against women and due to the fact that he has little to no experimental proof, his theories are not true...or should I say that they cannot be believed.
