Based on past situations, common sense, leadership skills, current career and dilemmas that you have seen your parents handle can you say that you are smarter than your parents?
Based on anything. like the college they went to. if they even graduated from college? How much they get paid? How they figure out daily problems? |

Well, my parents went to school in China and it was really competitive back then. They're really smart 'cause they got scholarships and really good jobs. My dad worked in an embassy in Beijing and my mom was a math teacher. I think they're smarter than me in school, but they probably forgot everything 'cause they're oldd, haha.
I have better social skills though. They don't speak English very well, so I have to call customer service and stuff like that for them. And when someone yells at my dad, he just doesn't know how to respond. I, for one, yell back at that person. He doesn't get how things work around here. My mom has horrible grammar and well, when she's speaking, she's saying something and means a totally different thing. I can survive better than my parents here in the US, but if we were in China, I'd probably be miserable. |
