For your first div I'd say it's pretty good. Everyone has to start somewhere.
I don't really care for the splatters, I feel they don't fit and they're cut off by the layout image (the white), just personal taste though. I think it's unnecessary to have the "likes" in scrollboxes. And why three random ones? Eh, maybe add more style to it. But good for a first
