Fonts wont show up in psp, And its pissing me off! |

IVe been downloading fonts for a long time with my old computer (it didnt have windows xp) and I used winzip to do it and it always worked fine.
Now it doesnt work. I've done it many ways. First I just opened them and dropped them into the fonts folder (which it told me how to do on defont.com) http://www.dafont.com/faq.php The fonts were in my font folder, but I cant use them. They wont show up in any programs. Then I tried using winzip, and when I unzipped them to my fonts folder it said they were already there. They're in my fonts folder, but I cant use them. I dont understand whats wrong? Im getting VERY frustrated!

yea i tried restarting psp a few times, no luck. they dont show up in other programs either.
