Help Please., [photoshop help] Options

okay, i have a few questions with [photoshop] i need to go over,and those of you who have tutorials for them/will help me please reply.

QUESTION #1
hmm let's say you have a picture of a girl sitting on a rock with tree's around her.. but you just want a picture of the girls face..

how in [photoshop] could you cut it out to where it's just that?

QUESTION #2
how do you blend multiple pictures together?

QUESTION #3
how do you add sparklys to a blend?
are the sparkles brushes or what?
if so where could i find them?
i found a tutorial on that.

QUESTIONS #4
how would you start out a blend if you were going to have pictures,and brushes?


if you have any tutorials or anything please help,i have no idea what im doing.

i clicked on them and they all work, i don't have time to expeirment and mess with them now, but i'll let you know if i figure them out and everything.

also,one more question.
do you know how to make photos "glossy" looking.
i searched but i didn't find any tutorials.
like see how hilary duff's face is in this blend? especially the far right picture?
