nice topic. :)

I almost want to say that trust is like a life-line in a relationship. Do you think that the more trust you have the healthier the relationship will be?
Not always. I don't think that how well a relationship goes depends directly on the trust between the two people in it. While I do believe that without trust, a relationship is doomed, trusting too much too soon can leave you open to being taken advantage of and hurt. Also, I don't think you should trust your partner to always being perfect or expect too much from them... but overall, you should have a healthy amount of trust in the relationship.

You have to show that you trust your partner. Is it ever good to fake trust?
No, it's not good to fake trust because if you truly trusted your partner, you wouldn't need to fake it. And if you partner found out you faked it, it gives them more reason not to trust you.

What does showing that you trust your partner entail?
It means you don't call obsessively to check up on where they are, you don't assume they're being unfaithful everytime they're late, you don't doubt their word and you can trust them to do good for you.

What are things that you can do to show you trust your partner?
You can tell them straight out, or tell them your secrets. You can stop calling them/texting them with "WHERE ARE YOU!? WHO ARE YOU WITH?!" messages. You can give them space to have their own lives including times when they are with members of the opposite sex, without assuming they're up to no good. You can act completely like yourself around them without being afraid.

What are signs that you don’t trust your partner?
You think they lie to you, you dislike it when they hang with the opposite sex (particularily if they're attractive!), you don't like to tell them private things.

What are things that can cause distrust?
Infidelty. Lies. Broken promises.

What does trust do?
It gives you something to rely on and basically is the rock you can hang onto when relationships take a dive. It gives you a sense of security.

How does trust effect a relationship?
^Basically everything stated above. :)
