umm... a capella literally means "like in the chapel" but that doesnt actually mean sing church music. it means sing like they do; which is without accompaniment.
if you want them to sing church music then just say gospel music. jesus. i was in the a capella choir in highschool and we sang shit like Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and Christina Aguilera.... suffice to say, that's not gospel music. the only actual similarity between a capella and real chapel music is that they sing without accompaniment; instead using their voices to replace instrumentals. |

I heard an acapella group sing Bohemian rhapsody, it was so great. loved it. i also heard them sing "aint no mountain high enough." and "stand by me"... But i'm still confused now...... can we do whatever we want acapella? or does it have to be classic italian pieces bascially? or are you thinking gospel? or are you picking songs for us? ![]() |
