Does your dad have any specific rules considering the boys you bring home?
My dad's pretty easy-going and incredibly asian, so he always jokes around whenever i mention any guy. 1.) "I am going to bring you to Taiwan to find a nice gentleman you can marry." 2.) "Every boy you want to date will be scored on a point system... 2 pts for coming from a nice family, 1 pt for every year he's older than you, 4 pts for having an SAT score above 2200, and 20 pts for being asian." 3.) "When you go to college, date 3 guys. Then, at graduation, I'll meet them and pick one out for you to marry." It's pretty freakin' funny. |

^^ that's funny. My mom doesn't want me to marry an Asian but my dad does. My mom's always like "I married one and look where I ended up..."

His "racism" wasn't based on him thinking that others were inferior... it was based on what he was used to and who he could identify with. |
