Has anyone here seen and loved "Hairspray"? It's one of my favorite musicals, and I LOVE the music!
They're making a movie version of the musical. (Strange; first a movie, then a musical based on the movie, and now a movie based on the musical...) The cast list is really impressive! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0427327/ I'm not sure I can see John Travolta as being Mama, though... |

The Broadway play (which was based on a movie) is currently filming in Canada. It is set to hit theatres in December 2007.

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Zac Efron, I saw a production picture of him with Amanda Bynes and I loved the costume & hair! I really want to see this in theatres & on Broadway. |
