help me! Options

i originally made this a reply but i ecided to make it a topic and get advice...
so right now im goin thru a breakup...but its not just a normal breakup--its not just were done..i cry for weeks...move on...it was that we just sorta slowly started talking less then he started hanging out with this other girl alot...then i asked him abt it...then he told me were done...then he told me he dint mean to say that he was just angry when he said it...so that gave me hope that wed get back together...then on that other girls myspace she started talking about how they spend alot of time together and how she LOVES HIM!! wtf!? so im down again that there "together" then she posts a new thing that he wont say "i love u" to her...that made me very happy (im the jealous type ...:-/)...then he stopped hanging out with her and he was telling me how annoying she was...then he told me he still likes me...so i was rediculously happy...now...hes got a new girl...so that makes me really sad...
im not over this yet...when he started hanging out with the other girl was in the begining of august so its been almost 2 months...its gonna take me a while to get over him but its hard cuz i really freakin love him...hes my first love and if he told me he wanted to get back together...i would in a second...but i dont wanna be so easy ..ya know..its a toughy...
when we were on a low..like when he was hanging out with the other girl all the time ...i become really depressed and i've even considered commiting suicide...im never going to forget this relationship...im still in love with him even though were done...but then again..if i got back together with him i dont think id wantto marry him...so when i find the person i truely wantto marry im still gonna have this guy in my mind...ill always love him....how do i get over him!?!?
oh and i cant just delete him from my phone and never speak to him again...i definitely would still wanna be friends with him...and also hes good friends with my sister so anytime i go visit my sister(my sister lives about 5 minutes from him...which is about 30 minutes from me) he comes over to hang out with us...so...yea

Many women tend to fall for their man's sweet talking and words but words without action are meaningless, Dr Phil tells you. Obviously this certain male individual is very confused on his own as well, or just playing around with you, my dear.

Also, getting in to a relationship does not equal you are going to end up marrying that person! Many people get into relationships to experience, and to mature, and PREPARE for the relationship they are going to have with their signficant other that they are going to marry. Dr. Phil suggest you get that mindset out of your mind! Go out, meet guys, and experiment! But that doesn't always mean completely letting yourself go. It means controlling yourself, setting boundaries, and about learning from your mistakes.
