Asking him out... and concerns., I need your guys advice. Please help. Options

Well, you know how it goes, the usual...

You like a guy/girl, and you get to know him/her. Right? You spend, a lot of time with that special person... constantly. (I'm talking every weekend.) You two talk about personal stuff, you know, your likes, your dislikes, embarrassing stuff, and your love life. The two of you have spent so much time together, that the particular person loves to talk to you, and likes it when you make fun of him/her, it makes them feel noticed. Now the two of you are so close, you actually have nicknames for each other, really stupid, confusing, nicknames that the other person made up for a weird reason. You want to ask that other person out, but you know before you launch, you want to know if he/she feels the same, correct? And you'd like to know if you are still in the so-called, 'friend zone'.

Of course, this issue is happening to yours truly. It happens to everyone, I know... So I'm hoping people who have gone through this can perhaps give me a helping hand.

Thank you guys for your advice. I'm actually going to see him tomorrow. (I'm a girl and he's a guy by the way. hahaha) And hopefully, I'll try making a move. Any tips on that one?
