Movie tickets are getting so freaking expensive. That's why I only watch movies in the theater that have great effects. Comedy & drama can usually be scene on a regular television and still have the same "feeling."

Does anyone else do that?

What are your "theater-worthy" movies?

X-men,
Pirates of the Carribean,
Mission Impossible...

I saw those over the summer. My friends keep telling me to go see movies with them, but they're always just normal movies and I'm like... "nooo... I'm not paying $8 for one ticket when I can go to H.E.B. and get the dvd about 2 months later for $1 per day."

Why not go to the movies? They're not getting expensive.. It's only $8.

An Inconvenient Truth was an AWESOME documentary. I watched in at the movies near Lincoln Center, so it was more than at the regular movie theaters.
World Trade Center was a pretty good movie..
I liked The Island too. I don't know why. mellow.gif
The Lake House was ok (I liked the Korean version better).
The Day After Tomorrow.
DONNIE DARKO! I LOVED that movie.
Armageddon. It made me cry.
Resident Evil - Apocalypse.
I, Robot.
Minority Report. throb.gif
Lilo & Stitch.
Finding Nemo.
I liked The Matrix. Watched them a longg time ago, so I can't remember which ones.
Harry Potter was ok. The books were better.

As you can see from my list, I LOVE sci-fi. And chick flicks/dramas too. XD.gif
I have more than these. I just can't think of them right now.

ONLY?!##!!?

That *is* expensive if you're paying for it yourself and have other financial obligations (oh hell, even if you don't have other financial obligations). mellow.gif

I'm with the movie theater worthy listers. I do the same thing. Dramas and most comedies are going to be rented. The only movies I go out to see these days are action/adventure or fantasy/sci-fi genres. Even then, I pick and choose. I'll always see a Harry Potter movie in the theater (as an example).
