like what do you think the stupidest steryotype is like i think emo people wearing black thick rimmed glasses
 ? okay like when you listen to things making fun of emo people they always say something about the glasses?again ? i have never seen an emo person wear thick rimmed glasses?also what is the stupidest steryotype someone gave you being serious like if a person went up to a gothic person and was like your a prep lol! that would be stupid! mine is a nerd?? im no where near a nerd? i mean i could see emo punk person or maybe even prep to an extent but nerd? that one made me want to hit her upside the head i mean i was like what are you talking about?sorry if there is already a topic on this but i searched and didn't come up with anything so? |

Not to hijack the topic...but aren't you guys who are saying "Emo kids who do such and such aren't emo, they're just posers", just contributing to the Stereotype?
I'm not saying anyone used those words exactly, but when you say that Emo is a fad and that people who dress a certain way and call themselves Emo, aren't; then aren't you kind of adding to the Stereotype that all Emo kids are fakes? Because that's a major Stereotype too, and the one I hate the most. btw-I'm not Emo, but that's just something I didn't understand. |
