some of my friends can be EXTREMELY nerdy/geeky, even compared to me... i mean, it's not wrong or anything, it just gets sooo annoying sometimes. i know it's just part of their personalities or w.e., but i always feel like telling them to just stop talking
 and when i have no idea what's going on (like if they talk about star wars or something) they still keep on talking, like i understand what's so funny...i dunno... *sigh*. does anyone else go through this? |

Sometimes. Except they're not nerdy. I'm more nerdy than them, but I don't show it because I know that they don't like discussing science..
I always feel left out when they talk about Anime or Asian singers and stuff like that.. I just don't like that stuff. I find it annoying too. =/ I just sort of ignore it and sooner or later they stop talking and I jump in with something random. Maybe you can just be like "What's that mean?" or something like that. Or you can learn to like the things that your friends like.. That's always an option. |
