som·nil·o·quy: s
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() n. pl. som·nil·o·quies: The act or habit of talking in one's sleep. Okay, so does anyone else here sleep talk? Lately, I've been falling asleep on the phone, and I'm told that I respond in my sleep (which I totally do not remember, at all). For the most part, he says that it's all prompted, that I probably wouldn't say anything if he didn't say anything first. I just deny that I'm asleep when I really am, "No.. I'm not asleep.." And there was one instance of, "Okay, I'm going to go to sleep now, goodnight!" and I had already been asleep for a while. ![]() Any amusing instances? |

I don't sleep talk.. At least I don't think I do.
My mom does though. When I was little, I used to talk to her when she was about to fall asleep and she just says random things like, "Did you leave the stove on?" or "Go watch TV." and once she even cursed at me in Chinese. ![]() |
