The biggest thing is maturity. Age is a factor in maturity becuase everyone should mature with age.

I think it best for me to say nothing about the whole phase thing. That's something that is between me and Holly. Let's just say that I really don't find it all that bad.

I see the whole age thing in %'s.... I mean:

I generally don't find it good to go anything less than 80%. meaning.

If your 20, I don't recommend dating anyone less than 16 years old (this doesn't mean that there are special cases... like mine... erf.. but I also have alot more self control than most people). Because they have had less than 80% of the life experience that you have had. I don't know, I just look at it that way. If your 16 I wouldn't recommend going any less than 13.

here's a forumla I wrote for the way I see it (written in vb6).

Dim intx as interger
Dim inty as interger
Dim strans as string

IF intx / inty > OR = 0.80 THEN
strans = "GO FOR IT!"
ELSE
strans = "NO DON'T DO IT."
END IF

^^Yep. If you're going to go out with a guy over 5 years older then you, be at least 20. My mum started seeing my dad when she was 22 or something. They're fifteen years apart.
