I do think there should be school, if there wasn't people would just use the day to have fun or something. I'd rather keep the moment of silence.
I like the way my school does it. We go to school but because so many people lost family members and friends (I'd say more than 1/3) we have a memorial service in the morning on the front lawn. People speak and read letters written to loved ones. We lower the flag to half mast and sing the national anthem. It's really nice. I think it should be something more like that. |
