Do you think we should have a national holiday on 9/11 ?
Then .. have a parade on the street to remember the terror of 9/11. |

Why think of it as the terror? Why not celebrate the courage and strength of many?
I think a parade would be a bit much, it should be a holiday. Like National Remembrence Day or something of the sort. |

was the dash between those years
Why think of it as the terror? Why not celebrate the courage and strength of many? I think a parade would be a bit much, it should be a holiday. Like National Remembrence Day or something of the sort. Exactly. The way I see it, September 11th marks the day when people's lives were taken away, but it's also a day to remember their lives, their achievements, and celebrate the fact that they got to experience the pain and joy of life. Also, I think that a holiday would mark their family member's courage to move past the fact that their loved one is gone and to, in a sense, live life for the ones who have died. Almost like the quote: QUOTE He noted that first came her date of birth And spoke the following date with tears, But he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years I dunno if that made sense, but my thought are kind of scattered about this topic. ![]() |
