What is a large age difference?

What would you guys consider a large age difference?
Or do you think age doesn`t matter at all? I always ask people these questions.. i just wanna know what you guys think.

It's not really years apart that define how far apart two people are, it's where the two people are in their lives. Some may say a younger person can be mature, but maturity does not make you older and does not give you more life experience.

For example, I think a 14 year old and a 17/18 year old is a rather large difference. The younger person has just entered the teens and high school, while the older person is about to venture out into a new phase of life. Therefore, that relationship really is like a child and an adult, even though there is only a few years difference.

However, a 17 and 21 year old may be fine because the younger person is making the transition into adulthood, while the older person is still wandering around as a young adult.

I do not believe a teenager under the age of 15 should think about dating someone 17 or older.
