Is there anyone taking AP Studio Art? (2-D Design, Drawing, etc)
It's when you have to hand in 24 portfolio pieces at the end of the year for the AP board or whatever to "grade." If so... what's your concentration? I'm taking 2D Design and my concentration's "Masks" in the literal and abstract meaning of the word. How do people "grade" a work of art, anyways? Sure, there's technique, but they also grade based on depth, creativity, and perception. IDK, I just think that different artists see things differently and something that's creative in the student's point of view, a grader might see as weird. |

Our school is recently evolving with art. I find more suburban areas forcus less on arts and more on sports, then Urban areas which really focus on art. I have gone to school in both places both private and public.
but besides the fact we just got our NAHS like NHS but National art Honors Society. We just started that and i was able to walk on graduation with a different tassle. a rainbow colored one. lol it was cool though. nope we dont have any AP classes for art yet. |
