Guess what!
I got an offer to play piano solo with orchestra!! They actually ASKED for me!! XD Wowwwwww!! Well I'm kind of scared to do it because I'm just doing SO much this year and I'm not sure if I'll do it perfectly and whether my teacher will actually let me.. But I thought about it, I even asked my boyfriend who is also a pianist about his thoughts and he said he thinks I can do it.. And I think I'm old enough to decide what repertoire to play.. So I will do this!! The piece is called Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin, if any of you have the chance - hear it, it's contemporary and really jazzy and.. it's just so awesome!!!!! It's veeeeery unbelievable.. I just wanted to share :D I'm sooooooooo excited!! |

My friend played with us [the orchestra] last year for a winter concert piece... it wasn't really a big deal...

Yeah I know; compared with the Chopin concerto in E minor which I also played with orchestra, it's pretty small :) But I still love it!! And my teacher said it's not as hard as I think. Which is awesome. Plus, I like the fact that they asked for me.. I'm still surprised. AND.. this time they'll pay me, plus I'll get lots of offers for scholarships.. XD or so I was told. Listelle: yeahhhh.. for the first time I feel like there's finally someone who can understand me :) |
