A relationship is like raising a child the you care for. It's a job that doesn't end, but it shouldn't bother you if you love your child. You show your child how much you care about them through all the hard work and effort you put into them.
Communication and honesty are like a food that you nourish your child(relationship) with. You can feed it good food and it will become healthy and strong, you can feed it bad food and it will become unhealthy and weak, or you can let it starve and it will eventually die.

Good food = Good communitcation
- Working through your problems and issues with your partner.
- Speaking up when you feel bad about something someone else has done.
- Telling the other person how you feel about them.
- Talking about your intrests.
- Giving your perspective.
- Trying to understand.
- Telling the truth when it's difficult.
- Sharing your life with someone else, and allowing them to share theirs with you.
- Empathy

Bad food = Bad communication
- Acting like everything is ok when it's not.
- Pretending like you don't care.
- Acting like things don't matter.
- Masking your true feelings with anger and hate.
- Telling lies about how you feel so the other person won't know the truth.
- Not listening.
- Not making an attept to understand.

No Food = No communication
- Not saying anything.
