So two days ago, Facebook released it's latest feature after profile badges (to advertise your facebook), my notes (a blogging-type system), and political & election groups (to increase awareness in the collegiate age group): a news feed and mini-feed to allow your friends to track all of your moves on facebook.
Many current users dislike the new interface, as is evidenced by the number of groups that sprang up. The official petition group is growing exponentially, with over five hundred twenty-four thousand (of an estimated nine and half million) joining in the past thirty-eight or so hours; it's big enough that the media is tracking the backlash. So here's the question: how do you like the new facebook (if you use it)? Don't post if you don't use it, 'cause you'd be spamming, k.  btw, I didn't see fit to just bump an old facebook topic since this is asking about a response to the new facebook facelift thinger. |

I dunno, I'm kinda ambivalent. I don't really like the new design, and the feeds do seem a bit stalkerish. But, I don't mind it that much, it's just different and needs some getting used to, I suppose.

Its so creepy that you're facebook friends whould know who you comment and what you do. Facebook sent a response to the concerns and they basically said that you can delete the "story" but I don't want to have to delete a "story" after every time I comment or add someone. here's the link from the group Facebook response |
