does anyone know how to make texture look like this? Is there a tutorial anywhere.

Use masks. Here's a tutorial on wicked torn paper edges and Kristina wrote one on using masks.
For the masks, if you use some of the custom crop shapes (I don't know what true photoshop has, but Elements has a lovely set of semi-grunge crop shapes that I love to death)... And this tutorial index (this section of it too!) has bunches of cool techniques ou can use. Remember: you don't have to use a tutorial for it's intended use. You could totally use colour layers on your textures... Or you could use a friends only banner as the style of your textures. Stuff like that is fun. |
